The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) has launched enforcement action against the unauthorised storage of over 45 shipping containers on a residential lot at Parcel 1614, Plot B, Herstelling, East Bank Demerara.
Officers from the CH&PA’s Enforcement Department inspected the property over the weekend and found the containers being stored on the lot. No one was present at the time of the inspection.
According to the Authority, the activity is unauthorised and contrary to the approved use of the property, which is designated for single-family residential purposes.
