A devastating fire in downtown Port of Spain has claimed the lives of two women and left several businesses in ruins.
The blaze occurred on Prince Street, between George and Charlotte Streets, during the night, prompting an emergency response from firefighters and police.
Five businesses were gutted in the fire, affecting owners and employees who now face an uncertain future.
