ForĀmer MinĀisĀter of FiĀnance and MemĀber of ParĀliaĀment for Diego MarĀtin North/East, Colm ImĀbert, is claimĀing that GovĀernĀment has diĀvertĀed more than $1.3 bilĀlion in loans origĀiĀnalĀly earĀmarked for key state agenĀcies to pay salaries and meet shortĀfalls in exĀpenĀdiĀture.
At a poĀlitĀiĀcal meetĀing at the MorĀvant CenĀtral ComĀmuĀniĀty CenĀtre on TuesĀday night, the forĀmer fiĀnance minĀisĀter acĀcused the govĀernĀment of fiĀnanĀcial misĀmanĀageĀment.
The Diego MarĀtin North/East MP says he had acĀcess to a reĀcent CabĀiĀnet Note seekĀing apĀproval for the transĀfer of 16 loans, valĀued at apĀproxĀiĀmateĀly $1.3 bilĀlion, to the fiĀnance minĀistry.
