Stolen sacred vessels returned with $100 and note

The two monstrances which were stolen from the St Mary’s RC Church were returned on Friday morning.

They were accompanied by $100 and a note.

The $15,000 liturgical vessels were found in a black bag on the steps of the St James church by parishioners who arrived for the 6.15 a.m. mass.
