Grande man killed in scuffle with gunman

Police are investigating a scuffle between two men in Sangre Grande that ended in a fatal shooting.

The victim, David Nicholas Fields, 22, of Farm Road, Bois Bonde, Sangre Grande, died of his injuries at hospital.

Fields was speaking with another man around 6 pm in front of his home on Monday when a man dressed in blue and wearing a mask approached them. There was a scuffle after the suspect removed a cellphone and some cash from Fields’ pocket.
