The life of vetÂerÂan broadÂcastÂer, culÂturÂal icon and forÂmer politiÂcian Dr HansÂley âHansâ HanoomansÂingh was celÂeÂbratÂed yesÂterÂday as he was laid to rest at the Curepe PresÂbyÂterÂian Church.
HanoomansÂingh died on JuÂly 4 at the age of 83, afÂter a peÂriÂod of illÂness.
Dozens of peoÂple filled the church to pay their fiÂnal reÂspects to HanoomansÂingh, who was known as an agent of change and had a heart of wisÂdom and love for learnÂing.
