HANS Hanoomansingh’s legacy of excellence and commitment to celebrating cultural diversity yesterday drew together family, icons and admirers from all walks of life, as the late media pioneer was laid to rest.
Hanoomansingh’s funeral at the Curepe Presbyterian Church saw media legends and young professionals whom he had mentored, activists, politicians, and those accomplished in arts and culture paying tribute to his work and life.
For many, Hanoomansingh brought to every table a standard which demanded and shaped excellence in media and culture. But he was also hailed as a father, husband, brother, uncle and mentor—the likes of which will never be forgotten by his family for generations to come.
