Two used-car dealers were placed on bail on Friday when they appeared in court charged with possession of stolen vehicles.
David John, 52, and Phillipe John, 27, of Patna Village, Diego Martin, appeared virtually before Master Rhea Libert jointly charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. David John faced an additional charge of possession of a stolen vehicle and Phillipe John was also charged with two offences of possession of a stolen vehicle and one charge of larceny of a motor vehicle.
The two were arrested on December 14. David John was placed on $75,000 bail while Phillipe John was placed on $125,000 bail. The matters were transferred to the Port of Spain court and adjourned to January 16.
