A Sangre Grande man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of a man in February.
According to a police media release, Nyrell Hosein, 25, of Ojoe Road was charged with the murder of Nicholas David Fields, which occurred on February 24. He was also charged with Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, when he appeared in High Court North ‘B’, on Tuesday.
Fields, 22, of North Eastern Settlement, Sangre Grande, was shot and killed on February 24, at Bois Bande Village, Sangre Grande. One male suspect was arrested in connection with the matter on April 18, at Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande, by PC Nanhoo, of the Sangre Grande Intelligence Unit. It is alleged he was held with a firearm loaded with ammunition in his possession.
