In the wake of HerÂitage PeÂtroÂleÂum ComÂpaÂny Ltd chairÂman Kurt RamÂlal’s resÂigÂnaÂtion, one of the enÂerÂgy comÂpaÂny’s disÂmissed diÂrecÂtors, Romel LalÂloo, says the GovÂernÂment is “imÂplodÂing”, with sevÂerÂal diÂrecÂtors and seÂnior ofÂfiÂcials deÂpartÂing State boards in reÂcent months.
“The GovÂernÂment doesn’t inÂvesÂtiÂgate itÂself. So there is a need for a whole change...a whole mindÂset as to the way things are hapÂpenÂing. The GovÂernÂment is imÂplodÂing in itÂself beÂcause it’s failÂing to do what is right,” LalÂloo said.
