Dr In­shan Meahjohn has ex­it­ed his post as chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of iGovTT af­ter his con­tract was not re­newed.Meahjohn, who served at the iGovTT of­fice in Port of Spain from De­cem­ber 2022 to No­vem­ber 2025, was re­port­ed­ly es­cort­ed from the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s of­fices on his fi­nal day.

While his con­tract had for­mal­ly ex­pired, sources told Guardian Me­dia he was pre­vi­ous­ly ad­vised that it would be re­newed, a com­mit­ment that was ul­ti­mate­ly not ho­n­oured.

Con­tact­ed on LinkedIn yes­ter­day, and asked about the re­ports that he was es­cort­ed the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s of­fices, Meahjohn said, “Many thanks for your ques­tion. There is no is­sue as my three-year con­tract sim­ply end­ed, and on good terms.”
