Angostura has once again been recognised on the world stage, receiving six medals at the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2026.
The IWSC is regarded as one of the most influential competitions for wines and spirits globally, and the 2026 edition recorded a particularly strong performance in the rum category. For Angostura, the latest wins further cement the company’s standing as a producer of world-class premium spirits and support its continued growth in international markets.
Silver medals were awarded to Angostura 3-year-old, Angostura Grand Reserve 1919, Angostura Founders Reserve 1824, Angostura 15-year-old and Angostura Tamboo, while Angostura 5-year-old received a bronze medal. The rums were judged through a rigorous blind tasting process conducted by an internationally renowned panel of master distillers, buyers and industry experts.
