The Naparima College Association of Past Students is mourning the passing of Roel Mohammed, Class of 2023, who lost his battle with Primary Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma at the age of 21.
Roel, described by his alma mater as the quintessence of a “True NAPS Man,” was admired for his discipline, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Even as he transitioned from Naparima College to the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) to pursue a Bachelor’s in Chemical and Process Engineering, he carried the school’s values with him.
In a statement, the alumni association said: “The loss of a life so young, and one so full of potential, is felt deeply by our entire fraternity. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made remains a part of our collective legacy.”
