ResÂiÂdents of HillÂpiece in PhillipÂpine, San FerÂnanÂdo, say they are livÂing in fear afÂter two pit bulls viÂciousÂly atÂtacked an elÂderÂly man last FriÂday evening, leavÂing him with seÂvere inÂjuries and the loss of use of one of his hands.
The vicÂtim, RamÂraj Dookhantie, 78, told Guardian MeÂdia the dogs knocked him to the ground and reÂpeatÂedÂly bit him while he fought desÂperÂateÂly to proÂtect his throat durÂing the terÂriÂfyÂing atÂtack.
