Several unions representing Regional Health Authority (RHA) workers say they are focused on negotiations and have no confirmation that members will be involved in any industrial action today.
Last week, the major representative bodies for RHA workers are the Medical Practitioners Association of Trinidad and Tobago (MPATT), the National Union of Government and Federated Workers (NUGFW) and the Trinidad and Tobago National Nursing Association (TTNNA).
In addition, RHA workers indicated they intend to use today as a day of rest and reflection over the fact that they did not automatically benefit from the 10% wage increase agreement between the Public Services Association (PSA) and Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) Dr Daryl Dindial.
