FARMERS in Carlsen Field are calling for an immediate increase in police patrols and security operations following a recent homicide and a series of criminal incidents that have heightened fears among residents and members of the agricultural community.
According to initial reports just before 6 a.m. on Monday, residents of Pig Farm Road in Carlsen Field heard a series of loud explosions. However, upon initial checks, nothing was found to be amiss.
About 4 p.m., however, residents observed the body of a man lying on his back in some bushes off the roadway. The deceased, who is still unidentified, appeared to have been shot several times.
