The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking to reassure the public about the phased release of detainees previously held under Preventive Detention Orders.
In a statement, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Operations, Suzette Martin, said the TTPS has put the necessary measures in place to manage the transition and maintain public safety.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is urging citizens to remain calm, noting public concern around the phased release of persons previously subjected to Preventive Detention Orders.
