Former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday was present in spirit at this general election in the hearts of his daughter Mickela Panday and her mother Oma Panday.
Mickela and her mother, Oma Panday, wept as they spoke to the media about his absence.
Basdeo Panday, the founder of the United National Congress, died January last year.
