BAIL in the amount of $50,000 has been granted to an Arouca woman after she pleaded guilty yesterday to posting a video on social media calling on Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to kill Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and members of her Cabinet.
The woman, 30-year-old Alianna Samaroo, appeared virtually before Magistrate Marisa Gomez after spending seven days in custody following her arrest under a detention order, which expired yesterday.
Samaroo, of Laurel Hill Extension, Five Rivers, Arouca, was represented by attorneys Shiva Boodoo and Roshni Balkaran-Boodoo.
