THE SON of previously detained businessman Danny Guerra will appear before the state of emergency (SoE) review tribunal on January 6.
He has also retained the British King’s Counsel who previously represented his father to challenge his preventive detention order (PDO).
Garvin Guerra was arrested on November 20, along with his father, on allegations that he is a member of a gang and involved in trafficking illegal arms, money laundering and illegal quarrying. His detention order alleged he had access to a cache of high-powered firearms with the intention to “imminently execute the assassination of a Government Minister and to escalate attacks against rival gangs in public spaces.”
