Bharath the blogger to pay $$ for defaming Moonilal

SOCIAL media blogger Rhoda Bharath has been directed by the High Court to pay $75,000 to Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal for dÂeÂfamation of character five years ago.
In addition to the compensatory award, Bharath was also directed by Justice Margaret Mohammed yesterday to bear Moonilalâs presÂcribed legal cost in the sum of $19,000.
Minutes after the ruÂling was delivered, BhaÂrath took to Facebook and announced her defeat to Moonilal.
