Gunmen killed a man who was sitting in a vehicle at Turtle Beach, Tobago on Tuesday.

Dead is Vernardo George, who worked with a company contracted to clear branches from around T&TEC power lines.

Witnesses say George was on his lunch hour and resting in the rear of a panel van equipped with climbing and cutting tools, when the suspects ran up and began shooting him.
