A Wood­land man was robbed of $2,500 in cash when he went to pur­chase two cat­tle that had been ad­ver­tised for sale in an on­line group called Bulls and Cows of Trinidad and To­ba­go.

The 25-year-old of Jack­son Trace, Wood­land, told po­lice he drove his white Nis­san Fron­tier to Pan­go­la Road, Point Fortin, around 9:30 am on Oc­to­ber 24, to meet with two men re­lat­ing to the sale of the an­i­mals.

The vic­tim claimed the sale had been fi­nalised around 7:30 pm on Oc­to­ber 23, via com­mu­ni­ca­tions on Face­book and What­sApp.
