A 14-year-old boy was ar­rest­ed on Sun­day af­ter he was al­leged­ly found in pos­ses­sion of a loaded gun dur­ing an ear­ly morn­ing raid at a house in Pe­nal.

South West­ern Di­vi­sion of­fi­cers got to the house along Pe­nal Rock Road around 6.11 am, but the own­er was not there.

On the up­per floor of the house, how­ev­er, they saw a young man ly­ing in a ham­mock.   When the of­fi­cers asked him what he was do­ing there, he said he was the care­tak­er of the ducks on the com­pound.
