KFC hikes prices on nine menu items

KFC Trinidad and Tobago has raised prices on several menu items, with some meals now costing as much as $4 more, as higher input costs and the rising expense of accessing foreign exchange put pressure on the fast-food chain’s margins.
Prestige Holdings Ltd chief executive officer Simon Hardy said the latest increases affected less than one-third of the chain’s core offering.
“The input costs would have gone up,” Hardy said, pointing in particular to rising costs across the poultry supply chain.
