Res­i­dents of Waller­field, Ari­ma, are call­ing on the po­lice to in­crease pa­trols fol­low­ing a se­ries of rob­beries and break-ins with­in the last cou­ple of weeks.

In the lat­est in­ci­dent, around 3.30 am on Fri­day, a 77-year-old pen­sion­er, along with his 71-year-old wife, was asleep in the bed­room when they were awak­ened by a loud noise.

Up­on check­ing, the man was con­front­ed by sev­en masked men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
