ASJA Girls’ College in San Fernando has secured over 15 places on the Order of Merit List for the 2025 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE).
The announcement was made yesterday by acting principal Aliyah Amarsingh-Mohammed during the school’s graduation ceremony at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) in San Fernando. Present were Education Minister Dr Michael Dowlath and MP for Princes Town and deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Dr Aiyna Ali, who is also a past student.
Amarsingh-Mohammed said while the administration had identified 15 places on the list, the document, which was released during the ceremony yesterday, was still being reviewed by staff to correctly tabulate the school’s performance.
