A fe­male po­lice of­fi­cer was beat­en and struck in the head, face and up­per body with a cell­phone dur­ing an ar­gu­ment with a close male rel­a­tive yes­ter­day.

The in­ci­dent, which left the of­fi­cer bloody and bruised, re­port­ed­ly un­fold­ed in front of the of­fi­cer’s one-year-old son and sis­ter.

Of­fi­cers from the Cunu­pia Po­lice Sta­tion were alert­ed to a do­mes­tic vi­o­lence in­ci­dent in progress at an apart­ment at Ram­goolie Trace North, Cunu­pia, around 5.11 am.
