EDUCATION Minister Dr Michael Dowlath said approved applicants should receive their school supplies and book grants by September 21, 2026.

He was responding to an urgent question from Opposition MP and former education minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly during yesterday’s sitting of Parliament, at the Red House, Port of Spain.

Noting that the 2026-2027 academic year had already commenced, Gadsby-Dolly said there was widespread concern among parents who had not yet received the school supplies and book grants.
