It’s hogwash.
This was how Foreign and Caricom Affairs Minister Sean Sobers yesterday described the Opposition’s claim that the Government failed to engage in diplomacy over allegations made by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
On Monday, Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles held a news conference at which she chastised the Government for what she described as inflammatory rhetoric and a hostile posture towards Venezuela, allegedly without first engaging in diplomatic contact.
