A TOTAL of 827 migrants successfully registered online for the Tobago leg of the Ministry of Homeland Security’s Migrant Registration Framework (MRF). And more than 100 migrants, including Venezuelans, Filipinos, Jamaicans, Cubans and Guyanese, registered in person on Tuesday at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Scarborough, for phase two of the process.
Police report that on March 3, the opening day of the in-person process in Tobago, which began in Trinidad on Monday, between the hours of 7.50 a.m. and 8.35 p.m., Immigration officials conducted the migrant registration process at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, with a total of 157 people.
Of that figure, 115 were processed and 42 rescheduled. Of the migrants processed on Tuesday, 103 were Venezuelans, three were Jamaicans, two were Filipinos, three were Cubans, and four were Guyanese.
