Music lovers gathered at Sound Forge in Port of Spain on Thursday evening for Fête de la Musique 2026, an annual celebration of World Music Day that also marked the 75th anniversary of the Alliance Française of Trinidad and Tobago.
Music filled the air at Sound Forge as patrons turned up to Fete de la Musique, for an evening dedicated to cultural exchange, community and entertainment through song.
The Ambassador of France to Trinidad and Tobago Guillaume Pierre explained that free public concert featured a diverse lineup of local performers, showcasing genres ranging from Soca and Steelpan to pop and indie music.
