The annual Independence Day Parade this year has been cancelled by the Government, but the southern city of San Fernando still plans to celebrate the nation’s 63rd year of Independence in style—hosting at least one musical performance for the general public on the day.
The Port of Spain City Corporation has also announced that it will be celebrating the country’s Independence on August 31.
