As Jamaica continues to celebrate the strength, resilience, and cultural power of its people, a new patriotic music project, One Jamaica, was released on Friday, June 12, 2026, as a stirring reminder of national pride, unity and collective identity.
Written during the period of uncertainty surrounding Hurricane Melissa, One Jamaica has grown beyond the moment that inspired it, becoming a broader musical statement about who Jamaicans are, where they come from, and the powerful bond that connects Jamaicans at home and across the Diaspora.
The song, produced by Paul “Patchy” Wright, brings together an impressive collection of Jamaican voices and music contributors across reggae, dancehall, gospel, lovers’ rock, and cultural music. The project features Marvia Providence, Tarrus Riley, Carlene Davis, Noddy Virtue, Duane Stephenson, Paul Blake, Nadine Sutherland, Antoni Steehl, Tasha T, Glen Washington, Lukie D, AJ Brown, Etana, Stevie Face, Ghost, Kelly Shane, Little Kirk, Jodian Pantry, Daville, Tanya Stephens, Kevin Downswell, Bugle, Agent Sasco, Nesbeth, Lady G, Shanty B, Glacia Robinson, Mykal Rose, Sherieta Lewis, Sherida Sharpe, Adena Myrie, Tommy Cowan, Nikki Burt, and Dean Fraser.
