Tancoo says all salaries and backpay paid

Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo has claimed that all salaries and back pay have been paid on time.

Tancoo made the claim in a WhatsApp status, which read: “Still think the media is unbiased? Salaries and back pay on time and not a media house beep.”

There has been no official release from the Ministry of Finance confirming the payments.
