Finance Minister Dave Tancoo said public sector workers represented by the Public Services Association (PSA) will get their backpay, but he could only provide more information after the negotiations were conducted.

His comment came yesterday while speaking with the media outside the Parliament Chamber at the Red House in Port of Spain.

Asked if he had the money, Tancoo said: “Yes. I do. I will give you a full rollout after the negotiation is completed. I have the money. Let’s wait until the negotiation is completed before I make any assumptions.”
