Hundreds of residents from Fairfield, Princes Town are at risk of being affected by Saturday's shut down of the wastewater treatment plant in the area, following the theft of copper cables.
The incident comes three weeks after the community was among others plunged into darkness when vandals cut nearby high voltage power cables.
With Saturday’s vandalism at the plant, residents are hoping for speedy repairs before the back up of sewage begins distressing them at their homes at the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Fairfield Phase One and Phase Two districts.
