In a return to national leadership, Kamla Persad-Bissessar will be sworn in as Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday at 4p.m.
The ceremony will take place at President’s House and will be officiated by President Christine Kangaloo.
This marks Persad-Bissessar’s second tenure as Prime Minister, having previously served from 2010 to 2015 as the country’s first female head of government.
