(Kaieteur News) – An undertaker employed with the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) has reportedly confessed to police that he helped set up the robbery at the organisation’s Woolford Avenue location on August 18.
Police have already charged a suspect in connection with the robbery. He was identified as Lester Leung, the undertaker’s nephew.
In his confession to police, the undertaker reportedly said Leung approached him with a plan to rob the CIOG building and that he agreed to assist.
