Sister Nancy’s ‘One, Two’ revisits Billboard

Veteran deejay Sister Nancy is enjoying a major comeback this year. Not only is a reconstructed version of her 1982 hit Bam Bam, renamed Jamaican (Bam Bam) and credited to house music producers HUGEL and SOLTO, scaling international charts, but her 44-year-old album One, Two has re-entered the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

One, Two produced by Techniques Records, rose to #3 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart on the tally dated April 26, 2025. It has re-entered this week’s chart at #10.

The album features the hits One, Two, Bam Bam and Transport Connection. It was initially released on vinyl in 1982 and 10 years later on CD.
