A retrial has been ordered in the case involving two brothers who were allegedly contracted to kill three men back in 2010.
In delivering the judgement in the John and Victor Forbes matter, Justice of Appeal Maria Wilson spoke against delays for retrials and called for new policy to be put in place to ensure they are given the priority they deserve.
The Court of Appeal judgment, which was delivered last week Friday by Justice Wilson, was agreed to by Chief Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh and Justice Geoffrey Henderson.
