Detectives assigned to the St James Police Division have charged 32-year-old Oricha Green, of Top Hill, Green Pond in the parish, with murder following a domestic dispute in their community last Saturday. Dead is 39-year-old Odane Morris, shop owner of Top Hill. Reports from the Montego Bay police are that at 12:15 p.m., the former couple, who lived in separate sections of the house, became involved in an altercation after Morris allegedly removed a mattress from Green’s room. During the dispute, Green allegedly inflicted stab wounds to his upper torso before fleeing the premises. Morris was assisted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. On Saturday, Green turned herself in to the police in the company of her attorney. On Monday, a question-and-answer session was conducted where she was subsequently charged.
