PM blanks 'greedy' Energy Chamber invite, calls it a farce

PRIME MINISTER Kamla Persad-Bissessar has distanced her Government from the Energy Chamber, calling its upcoming conference in Port of Spain a “farce”.
The Prime Minister confirmed that by letter dated June 24, 2025 she was invited by the Chamber to be the featured speaker at its energy conference which starts on January 26.
However, she minced no words yesterday in criticising the Chamber describing the body as “greedy”.
