At a poÂlitÂiÂcal meetÂing on ThursÂday evening, UnitÂed NaÂtionÂal ConÂgress PoÂlitÂiÂcal Leader KamÂla PerÂsad-BissesÂsar promised to pay the outÂstandÂing sum of $110 milÂlion to the farmÂers if she is electÂed inÂto ofÂfice.
HowÂevÂer, RobinÂson-RegÂis said the failÂure to pay the cane farmÂers was not due to a lack of fiÂnances.
