TEARS FLOWED and flowers rained as relatives, classmates, teachers and villagers gathered to bid a heartbreaking farewell to 13-year-old Mariah Seenath on September 27.
Many mourners filled her coffin with different types of flowers. Mourners also broke down while paying tribute to the form three student of San Fernando East Secondary School (SFESS) at the emotional funeral held at St John's Open Bible Church, St John's Village, San Fernando.
The body was first taken to her grandmother's home at Cipero Road, Friendship Village, her home near the football field where Mariah often played. At her home, the family's dog, Brownie, appeared sad and Mariah's father, Marlon Seenath, lifted the animal over the coffin to get a view of the body.
