Police are investigating two cases of larceny reported along Brian Lara Drive, at the bottom of Lady Chancellor Hill, on Thursday evening.
In the first incident, a 37-yar-old woman of Cunupia told police she parked and secured her silver Nissan Juke around 4:37 p.m. When she returned less than half an hour later, she discovered the rear left passenger window shattered and her handbag missing. The bag contained her wallet, Tommy Hilfiger glasses, several bank cards, her national ID and driver’s permit.
Minutes later, another report was filed by a 60-year-old of Malabar. He said he had locked his Ford Ranger, around 4:40 p.m. in the same area. When he returned at 6:10 p.m., he found the vehicle broken into. Two Samsung cell phones, a Lenovo laptop and $400 cash were stolen.
