A FRAUDULENT e-mail purporting to be from the Express newspaper, bearing a resemblance to the newspaper's website and asking readers to enter their personal information, has been circulating online.
The e-mail mimics the layout, font and colour scheme of the Express' digital site, and falsely uses the byline of legitimate Express reporters, such as journalist Khamarie Rodriguez, to promote what is likely a fraudulent 'Petroleum Profit' scheme.
It also uses false quotes from Prime Minister Stuart Young in an attempt to sway readers. However, the e-mail, the illegitimate story it purports, and the links contained in it, are in no way associated with the Express newspaper.
