Police in the Central Division yesterday said they would like to see joint army-police posts established at five locations.
The five locations the Central Division said it would like were the Couva Interchange, near the NP gas station; Carlsen Field, east of the highway; Brentwood, near the gas station and east of the highway; Felicity in Chaguanas, on the western side of the highway; and the St Helena district in Caroni.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar had previously announced that 30 army-police posts would be established, including at Couva Interchange, Carlsen Field and Felicity. Six other locations are to be Âdetermined.
