Six months after the partial collapse of Well Services Rig 110, the body of 47-year-old rig worker Pete Phillip remains unrecovered beneath the sea.
Phillip, a father of six from South Trinidad, was flung from the platform during the December 22, 2024 tragedy. At first, the company promised a rescue. But within two days, that turned into a recovery effort. Since then, little has changed.
Speaking to the Express yesterday, Phillip’s eldest sister, Paula Baxam, said the family feels abandoned.
