TRIBUTES have continued to pour in for 47-year-old Tara Lochansingh, who was swept away in the Matura River on Friday, after rescuing her five-year-old granddaughter.
Lochansingh, of Navet Village in Rio Claro, drowned and was recovered from the river on Saturday morning shortly before noon.
She lost her life saving her only grandchild who had gotten into difficulty while in the river. Though she pushed the child to safety, Lochansingh herself could not be saved.
